Edith Morley was born in 1574 in Barnoldby Le Beck Lincolnshire England to parents Edmund Morley and Margaret (Hopkinson)Morley .She had two known siblings called Edmund and Katherine She married William Parkins in 1592 in Bottesford Lincolnshire England .She died in 1633 in Ashby Lancashire England .She left a will.

Iv had a look for marriage record cant find one iv looked . 1 Family Search 2 BMD 3 Find My Past 4 Ancestry There is My Heritage but not got a subscription for that one i cant seem to find any evidence that she had children. iv found a possible Will of Edith.

Prerogative Court of Canterbury Wills, 1384-1858[2] In The Name Of God Amen 18 February 1632. I Edith Parkins of .Ashby in the parish pf Botesford in the county of Lincoln, widdow .........of body but of good and perfect remembrance the Lord God be praysed make this my last will and testament in ma.....and for me following. First I give and commend my soule into the hands of the Almighty God my maker hoping assuredly in through the one by merit of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to be made....... partaker of everlasting life and I commend my body to the earth whence of it was made and be buried within the …….. of the parish of Ffrodingham. Item I give to the parish church of Botesford aforesaid thirty shillings to be bestowed by my exe’’’’’ and supe….ns for the buying of a communion table and carpet for the same.

Item I give to the parish church of Ffrodingham aforesaid five shillings. Item I give to William Parkins my eldest sonne all my lands …es tenement and heritament whatsoever with their appurtenances in Ashby aforesaid or elsewhere within the realms of England either in possession or …..eberron to him and his heires for .be. Item I give to Richard Parkins my youngest sonnet two hundred pounds to be payed to him w Ithin one year next after my decease. Item I give to Elizabeth Susanna and Editha Parkins daughters of the said Richard twenty pounds apiece to be payed unto them when they shall severally accomplish the age of one and twenty yeas or be married whether shall first happen and if it happen any of the children dy before they accomplish the said age or be married I give her or their part for dyeing to the others that shall survive....will and ....at that be paid ....pounds....payed .The Will needs further examination.

History of Bottesford and Holme Hall

Bottesford is a historic village with town status, due to its town council, in North Lincolnshire, England.The town is joined to southern Scunthorpe, and is defined by the B1501 road to the north and Bottesford Beck to the south. The River Trent lies to the west, with a boundary line approximately along Grammar School Walk, Richmond Close and Winchester Drive to the east. Bottesford parish includes the hamlet of Yaddlethorpe, and Bottesford Moor.
