Biography
Jonathan Bush Morton was brn September 8, 1779 in Prince Edward County, VA, the son of John Morton and Tabitha Tinsley. He is the brother of David Morton.
Jonathan married China Benton Thompson November 24, 1809 in Sumner County, TN. Jonathan China had the following children:
- Mary A. Morton, Nathaniel Hart Morton,

- Sarah F. Morton,
- Shelby Morton
- David Morton

Jonathan died October 10, 1852 in Clark County, Kentucky. He is buried in Morton Graveyard, Clark County, Kentucky, USA[1]
