The sources used on this profile, are problematic. Colket, does not list this ancestor. Savage and Anderson (neither listed) do not list this ancestor. It is obvious from the many baptism records attached that there was at least one man named William Moss. However one man did not have children in Bristol, Warwickshire (in 1770s) and Norfolk (1830). Even if one found a logical baptism for a John s/o William, we would need more proof that John was the same man as the immigrant. Are there objections to disconnecting John Moss from these parents?

This probably goes for the other children attached also. The profile needs to be cleaned up with an eye to logic of place and time.

I haven't found any reliable records of this person and none of the links support the biography; Most sources indicate that John Moss who died in 1707 was the first to immigrate.

Moss-3035 and Moss-259 appear to represent the same person because: Same date of birth, same wife

Moss-259 and Moss-1363 appear to represent the same person because: all the errors in the profiles have been fixed, I believe we can now merge these two profiles. See Moss-259 for detail
