Margaret Neville (d. 13 Oct 1559),[1][1] is the fourth daughter of Ralph Neville, 4th Earl of Westmoreland and Catherine Stafford.[2][3] Her parents were married some time before June 1520. She is one of their eighteen children.[4]
Margaret became the first wife of Henry Manners, 2nd Earl of Rutland (b. abt. 1527) on 02 or 03 July 1536 in a triple marriage ceremony at Holywell, the home of the earls of Rutland in Shoreditch, London.[2] Her husband Henry, was about nine-years-old at the time.[7] Margaret was then styled "Lady of Rutland."[8]
