ALICE DE BEAUMONT, d. 1246-1263; m. William Mauduit, d. Apr. 1257, Lord of Hanslope, and Hartley Mauduit, co. Bucks., Chamberlain of the Exchequer, son of Robert Mauduit, d. 1222, Lord of Hanslope, Chamberlain of the Eschequer, by his wife Isabel Basset. Robert Mauduit's maternal grandfather was Simon de St. Liz, d. 1153, Earl of Huntingdon. (CP XII (2): 364 note f, 366-368; Sanders, 50-51).
