1776 Project
Private Covell Nickerson served with Worcester County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
Covell Nickerson was born on 19 Apr 1737, in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Edward (3) Nickerson and Thankful (Covell) Nickerson.
Edward, Covell's father, was born circa 1700, in Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Thankful, Edward's wife, was born cir. 1707, in Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Covell married Deliverance Nickerson (born Small) on February 15 1766, at the age of 28, in BarNova, Scotiatable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Deliverance was born circa 1734, in Durham, New Hampshire.
They had one son: Edward Nickerson .
