Will of John Norton, of Parish Kensington, Township Farmington, County Hartford, Connecticut. Dated April 5, 1748. Proved 13 Oct 1752. Names wife Anne, her brother Daniel Thompson, eldest son Charles, three children of second son Gideon, deceased, third son John Norton, grandson John Norton (son of John?), fourth son Job, fifth son Roger, daughters: Anne, wife of Judah Hart, Ruth, wife of Josiah Burnham, Sarah, wife of Moses Deming, Lucy, wife of John Kirby, and Mary the wife of James Bidwell. Wife appointed executrix. . Witnessed: William Burnham, William Burnham, Jr, Elisha Burnham.[1]
