Sylvanus (22) married Abigail Ball (19) (born on May 18, 1752 in Hopkinton, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony; daughter of John Ball and Margaret (Hemenway) Ball) on November 25, 1771 in Rutland Massachusetts. Their children were:

Sylvanus died in 1800 in Vermont, United States, aged 50.[1]
