Acknowledgment (auto created by WikiTree)
Thank you to Malcolm Osmer for creating WikiTree profile Olmstead-332 through the import of Elijah Hosmer_2013-02-03.ged on Feb 3, 2013.
Notes by Walt Steesy
Sometime after the import of this file by Osmer-2, he abandoned this profile and two others. All three had just a name and no data other than his reference number. All three are brothers, sons of Joseph & Elizabeth (Butler) Olmsted that married Hosmer women.
I have adopted all three profiles (Olmstead-332, 333, 334) and will eventually merge them into previously created profiles. One of the problems is that the spelling of the family name, with and without the "a", has caused the creation of duplicate profiles under each spelling. There continues to be discussion as to which form was used by the early Olmste(a)d families; those in Hartford, CT, which includes this family tend to use Olmsted without the "a." If and when the actual useage is determined the various profiles will be edited.

Olmsted-59 and Olmstead-97 appear to represent the same person because: Same names (LNAB spelling variations), same birth dates and locations, and same exact death dates. Please merge. Thanks
Olmstead-32 and Olmstead-333 do not represent the same person because: I accidentally initiated a merge request for Olmstead-333, I meant to do a merge for Olmstead-301. Please disregard this request since there is nothing listed for demographics or other data. Thanks
