Edwin Bailey Olmstead, eldest son of Rev. DeWitt and Emma (Bailey) Olmstead, was born in Tompkins County, New York on Christmas Day 1857.
He followed his father and became a minister serving churches in Binghamton and Rochester, New York [1] Knoxville, Tennessee, and Kansas City, Missouri. [2]
He married Anna Smith in 1882; she died six years later. They had two daughters, Annie and Emma.
He then married Mary Scott in 1890. They had a son Edwin (1892-1970)
Reverend Olmstead died 20 April 1917 in Norwich, Connecticut.
Edwin and his wives Anna and Mary, are buried in the Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton, Broom Co., New York. [3]
