Biography

Dorothy Olmstead, daughter of Samuel and Jershua (Pitkin) Olmstead, was born in East Hartford, Connecticut on 6 September 1759.

She married Samuel Church, son of Caleb and Sarah (Barnard) Church, on 21 March 1784 in East Hartford. [1]

They had nine children: Samuel, Giles, Luman, Henry, Joseph, Sarah, Charles, Leonard and Harriet Church.
