Lucy Olmsted was born at East Hartford in the Connecticut colony on 1 September 1772 the daughter of Stephen and Jane (Olmsted) Olmsted.
She married Nathan Pitkin, son of Epaphras and Eunice (Hills) Pitkin on 16 November 1803. They had three children: Charles, Julia, and Austin.
Lucy Pitkin died 12 January 1863 in East Hartford and is buried in the Center Cemetery there next to her husband and near many relatives. [1]
