Private Nathaniel Olmsted Jr. served with Lexington Alarm - April 1775, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Nathaniel Olmsted was born 19 July 1751 the son of Nathaniel and Sarah (Pitkin) Olmsted of East Hartford, Connecticut

He married twice. First on 25 December 1776 to Thankful Huntington

  1. Daughter Olmsted
  2. Allen Olmsted
  3. Son Olmsted

He married after 1782 Eunice Kingsbury and they had four children:

  1. Nathaniel Olmsted
  2. Thankful Olmsted
  3. Sarah Olmsted
  4. Denison Olmsted

Nathaniel died 9 June 1792.
