Mathurin André Ouellet was born on June 28, 1699. He was the son of Mathurin Ouellet and Marie Lebel, baptized at Rivière-Ouelle, Nouvelle-France on July 19, 1699,[1]
under the name Mathurin, but was called André at his wedding and his children's baptisms. They were the same person, according to PRDH.[2]
He married Marguerite Levasseur on May 28, 1733 at Kamouraska (St-Denis parish), Nouvelle-France.[3]
The couple had ten known children.
His date of his death is uncertain, but it was before his daughter Marie-Rose's marriage to Gabriel Nadeau on Jan 12, 1767, where he is mentioned as being deceased.
