He later lived in Willis' Fork, Cumberland County, Virginia, USA.[2]
Carter married, first in 1783, Mary Cary, and secondly, in 1799, Lucy Nelson, daughter of Governor Thomas Nelson and Lucy Grymes Nelson of Yorktown, Va.[3]
Major Carter Page served in the Cavalry; he was one of the students from William & Mary College who left school to join the American Revolutionary Army. He served as aide-de-camp to General Lafayette General Lafayette during the campaign in Virginia against British General Cornwallis. Major of Cavalry in the American Revolutionary Army.
