John Pantry s of John & Hannah (Tuttle) Pantry was bp Mch 17, 1649/50 (HTR).[1][2]
John Pantry, Mrs. Welles' son of Hartford, age 18 Yrs. was treated by John Winthrop in 1667.[3]
He married Abigail Mix, d/o Thomas Mix of New Haven and wife Rebecca Turner.[1][4]
He died Apl 4, 1736 at ae 86 and is buried at the Center Church in Hartford,[1] where his gravestone is still legible. The stone says he was age 90.[5]
He was one to the richest men in Hartford, left to his children and grandchildren a large estate, including a pasture of 25 acres on the east side of Front St. He died very feeble, his estate having been placed under the care of conservation.[1]
