Biography
Abigail Parsons, daughter of Mary (Bliss) and Cornet Joseph Parsons was born 3 Sep 1666 at Northampton, Massachusetts.[1]
Abigail married John Colton on 19 Feb 1683/84 at Springfield, Massachusetts, when she was 17 years old.[2][3] She died 27 Jun 1689 at age 22.[1][4]
Abigail and John Colton had two children, both born at Springfield:
- Abigail, born 4 Jan 1684/1685;[5] married Francis Griswold.
- Mary, born 1 May 1689;[6] died 16 June 1690.[7]
After Abigail died, John married Joanna Wolcott.[8]
Note Regarding Parentage
- A different Abigail Parsons, daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Vore) Parsons, was born 6 Jan 1662 at Springfield, Massachusetts.[9] She married John Munn on 23 Dec 1680 at Springfield.[10]
