Jeremiah Fogg and Elizabeth Parsons, daughter of Rev. Joseph Parsons, were married in Salisbury, Massachusetts on Jun 23, 1739. [2]
A story in the History of Rockingham County, New Hampshire[3] relates that when Parson Fogg brought his wife to their new house the church deacon brought along Phyllis Parsons "a small black girl" who was Elizabeth's slave.
Jeremiah and Elizabeth remained in Kensington, New Hampshire where her husband was a preacher for 52 years. Elizabeth died on Mar 5, 1779 in Kensington [4] and is buried there at Upper Yard Burial Ground. [5]
