William was born about 1405 and was apparently considered very old when he died in 1488. [1]
He is thought to have married Elizabeth Denebaud around 1429 when her father John died. [1] They had the following children:
Elizabeth who married Sir William Cary
Florence who married John Ashford, esq
Christian who first married to Nicholas Chichester, esq.; secondly to Henry Hull ; thirdly to William Martin
Alice who married John Paulet, of Basing, esq. [2]
In 1479 William brought the first Common Pleas suit in the Middle Temple where he claimed £10 each from 45 men. [3]
After his death in 1488 his widow survived until 1497.[1]
