Pierre Payet was born on 20 or 25[1] November 1746, and was baptized the same day in Repentigny. He was the son of François Payet and Françoise Beaudoin.[2]

I've reviewed the LAFRANCE database, and I can't find a Pierre Payet who died on 21 July 1765 in Laval. Also, I find the idea that this person would have been born in Bordeaux implausible, given the other births in the family.
