I agree with Jill Snelling. There are two Stephen Payne families . Both lived in Lebanon CT but the one who married Rebekah Bushnell 23 Sep 1756 who is the son of Benjamin and Mary Brewster Payn born 26 June 1735 in Lebanon CT moved to Coventry and had 5 children and then moved to Hebron and to Peru in Berkshire Mass. This Stephen Payn is documented on page 241 of Lebanon Vital Records whereas the other Stephen who married and divorced Jemima Morgan is documented on page 252. Winifred Sihon
