William was born about 1303. William is the child of Henry Percy and Eleanor de Warenne. William passed away about 1355.
In 1335, the Northumbrian squire, William de Presfen, "captured the Earl of Moray in a border skirmish," (Liddy, 2005; Scalacronica).[1][2] He may have been the William de Presfen, who owed John Byker a debt on 10 May 1357.[3] ... who's probably the same William, that was owed money from John de la Beche, on 08 Feb 1354.[4]

Pressene-4 and Percy-489 are not ready to be merged because: I'm looking for proof that William de Presfen was a Percy... and I still haven't found any. Can someone provide evidence? William de Presfen was recorded in the Scalacronica, but I can't find a source for his wife ... not even her first name. It's William's daughter who is recorded as "Margaret de Presfen" (Presson) ... But as far as links with the Percy family ... I'm not seeing it.
