American-Canadian actor who gained international recognition in the 1990s for playing "Chandler Bing" on the NBC television sitcom "Friends".
Matthew Langford Perry was born on 19 Aug 1969 in Williamstown, Berkshire, Massachusetts. He died on 28 Oct 2023 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 54.
Matthew spent a part of his childhood living in Ottawa, Ontario. His mother served as press secretary to Prime Minister Trudeau's father, Pierre Trudeau, during his time as prime minister.[1]
He was found unresponsive in a hot tub on 28 October 2023 in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles County, California.
Matthew Perry was laid to rest at the Courts of Remembrance, Sanctuary of Treasured Love, Map #ELF0 (Elv F), Single Wall Crypt 1972 in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, California.[2]
