François Fannef was born to parents Jean Baptiste "Jean" (Fanef) Faneuf and Marie Madeleine Lauzon on 20 December 1747 and was baptized the same day at Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His godparents were François Fanef and Marie Bouquet. Priest was Gervaise.[1]
François Fanef, aged 21 on the record, married Marie Madeleine Godu, aged 18 on the record, daughter of Joseph Godu and Madeleine Goulet, on 29 May 1769 in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Province of Québec.[2]
François Faneuf, husband of Marie Madeleine Goddu, passed away on 11 Nov 1809 being given the age of around 63 years old on the record. His burial was two days later in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Bas-Canada.[3]
