Note: The 1840 Warren township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania census shows Joseph Phincey (sic) with 1 male under 5, 2 males 5-9, 1 male 30-39, 1 female under 5, 1 female 5-9, 1 female 1014 and 1 female 30-39.
On the 1860 Warren township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania census shows Joseph Phenicie, age 54, a farmer, with his wife Susan, age 54 and children William, 24; Mary, 20; and Susan, 18.
By 1870, the only child still living at home is daughter, Mary Ellen, age 32.
On the 1880 Warren Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania census shows a granddaughter, Mercy (Mary) age 22, living with Joseph.
Joseph and Susan eventually came to own the Christian Study home place and became owners of all the Study land.
Records of the Stone Church Cemetery give his death date as June 23, 1886. He died age 84 years, 7 months and 6 days.
