Biography

Stephen was born on 27 February 1770 in Parsonsfield, York, Maine. He was the son of Michael Philbrick and Marcy (Unknown) Philbrick.[1]

When Stephen was 23 he married Elizabeth "Betsey" Nowlen on 26 May 1793 in Hall, Maine. The couple had 7 children: Eliza Philbrick, Harry A. Philbrick, Charlotte Philbrick, Meriah Philbrick, Stephen Philbrick, Mary Huldah Philbrick and Lovina Philbrick.[2]

In the 1850 census Stephen (age 80) was living in Lewiston, Lincoln, Maine.[1]
