Biography
Mercy Jane Pinckey was born May 1, 1833, the daughter of Elijah Pinckey and Mercy Parfitt of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[1]
On January 19, 1854, she married Jeremiah Goodwin, son of Paltiah Goodwin of Pubnico, Nova Scotia[1] [2] [3], and had children, including:
- Isaac Goodwin, born circa 1860[3]
- Ruth Goodwin, born circa 1862[3]
- Amanda Goodwin, born circa 1862[3]
- Ella May Goodwin, born circa 1864[3]
- Lydia A Goodwin, born circa 1867[3]
- Nettie Goodwin, born circa 1871[3]
- Jeremiah Goodwin, born circa 1873[3]
