He lived for a time on an estate belonging to his father in a locality called Springbrook, which came, with other lands, into his possession upon the death of his father in 1727. Married March 24, 1715-16, his cousin Margaret, daughter of Isaac Pope (3. ii.) (born June 30, 1690, died May 22, 1776). Children, born in Dartmouth: i. SARAH,' April 26, 1715; m. Nov. 27, 1753, Moses Washburn, Jr. ii. JOANNA, b. Feb. 20, 1717 -18. iii. THOMAS, b. July 12, 1720; died Nov. 19, 1732. [12] iv. ISAAC, b. March 12, 1723; d. Dec. 9. 1793. v. DEBORAH, b.
