Research Notes
A previous entry on this profile had reference to Nimrod marring Matilda Phelps, daughter of Obediah Phelps and Margaret Peggy Dye, on 16 Mar 1850 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Upon further investigation there is a record of a Matilda Phelps having married a Nimrod Randol in Pulaski County on that date Pulaski County, Kentucky Marriage Bonds 1799 to 1863, Pg. 150, fourth entry on page.
The 1860 US Census does list a "Matilda Phelps, age 17" as living with the then "70" year old Nimrod. Given her age this could not be the same Matilda Phelps that married Nimrod Randol ten years earlier.

I propose deleting marriage to Margaret Peggy Dye, on 16 Mar 1850 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. The 1860 US Census lists a "Matilda Phelps, age 17" as living with the then "70" year old Nimrod. There is no source to verify this marriage.
Please respond within 3 days with a verifying source.
I don't know when the entry was made or who placed it but I think I found where the error came from and for documentation purposes moved it down into the Research Notes section of the profile.
re. incorrect marriage to Matilda Phelps, she appears to be daughter of Nimrod's daughter Mary Phelps-2546, m. Obediah Phelps, and d. 1847 when Matilda was 4 years old (1860 Census lists her as 17).
Randolph-600 and Randolph-4072 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to be the same person. If birthdate for Randolph-4072 is documented please add to Randolph-600
The parents' confirmed with DNA relationship status indicators were removed because the DNA confirmations are not cited (DB errors 213 & 313).

Randolph-1473 and Randolph-600 appear to represent the same person because: Nimrod Randolph (Randolph-1473) was left over after a merge of James Randolph Sr profiles. Needs to be merged with Randolph-600 rather than deleted (which leaves a disconnected profile). Thanks.
