John Rector was son of Spencer Rector and Mary Tiffin.
John( 4) Rector (Mary3 Tiffin, Henry2, Adam Jonathan1) was born May 01, 1788 in Rectortown, Fauquer Co, VA, and died 1819 in Pickaway Co, OH.He married Starling Clarkson September 07, 1811 in Ross Co, OH48.

Children of John Rector and Starling Clarkson are:
i. Mary (5) Rector, born Abt. 1812  ; died Est. 1813-1906. She married J J Imhoff.
ii. Edward Rector, born January 09, 1814 in Pickaway Co, OH; died February 06, 1895 in Richland Co, IL.
