Otis Redding was an American singer and songwriter, best known for his hit "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay".[1]
Otis Redding was born in Georgia in 1941.[2] He was the son of Rev Otis Redding Sr. and Fannie Mae Roseman.
He died at the age of 26 when the plane he was traveling on crashed on the way to Madison, Wisconsin.[3] He is buried on the grounds of his "Big O Ranch" in Round Oak, Georgia.[4]
