Ebenezer died 27 Jun 1831 in Maury, Tennessee. At the time of his death in 1831, Ebenezer mentioned his wife,
1. "Henrietta" in his Will. He made provisions for her to have two disinterested- neighboring men gather and disperse provisions to her.
2. He gave one share of the estate to: His wife, Henrietta, sons, Abel, Ebenezer, Joel, daughter, Sally.
3. To the children of Rolland, 1/2 share to Sally when she is over 18 and married.
4. To Ebenezer Rice son of Rolland Rice and brother of Sally 1/2 share. This Ebenezer was bound to his grandfather. In order to get his share, he had to be out on his own for 2 years and be 21. His son Ebenezer was named executor. [1]
