Elburn G. Rice, 71 of Pontiac, Mich, passed away in Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital there, Friday. He was born July 6, 1910 near Dalton, a son of the late Wm. Riley and Mary Jane James Rice. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal King Rice of the home; two sons, Mike and Bill Rice, of Pontiac, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Mary Hamilton of Union Lake, Mich., and Mrs. Karen Hynes of Clarkston, Mich.; a brother, Wid Rice of Corning; a sister, Mrs. Vada Hogue of Dalton; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Jernigan officiating. Burial followed in King Cemetery with McNabb's in charge. Pallbearers were Preston Bell, John Crawford, Bruce Hynes, Mike, Gordon and Bill Rice.
