Biography
Joseph was born in 1817, to Joseph B. Richey and Jane Robinson.
He married Martha McKennie August 8, 1839 in Benton County, Alabama. He married widow Ann Dalley after 1856 possibly in Texas.

Notes for JOSEPH RICHEY, JR.: In Clyde Homer Doyal's research on Joseph Richey, Jr., he says: " In 1880 age 63, Joseph, Jr. was living in Sabine County, Texas with his second wife Ann age 45 with her sons Richard Dalley, age 14 and John Dalley age 18. Joseph Richey Jr.'s son John- (Joseph & Martha McKennie Richie(ey)'s son) John age 27, and his wife Jane age 32 and their children: Catherine age 7; John -5, Anna -3 and Mary age 11months were also living in Sabine County, Texas. Joseph Richey, Jr. was a farmer in the 1860 census, was living in Red Mouth Township, Franklin Parish, La. Joseph Richey Jr. was a son of Joseph Richey Sr. (1775-1848) and Jane Robinson."
