Henry William RIdge was born June 14, 1905[1] in Anoka, Minnesota.[2] He was the son of Reuben Cry Ridge and Hannah Abigail (Grant) Ridge. At ag 4, he was in his parent's home in Linwood Twp., Anoka, Minnesota along with 4 siblings.[3] He spent his early years on the family farm in Linwood, Anoka, Minneapolis.[4]
He married his first wife Carolyn Marion Sanders (1911-1951) ca 1929. They had 2 known children.
They lived in Wano, LaMoure, North Dakota in 1930, where Henry was Farming.[5]
They were in Rual, LaMoure, North Dakota in 1935, then on to Richwood, Becker. Minnesota by 1940, where he was a Farmer.[6]
He retistered for the WWII draft on October 16, 1940, giving his birth as June 14, 1905 living in Detroit Lakes, Becker, Minnesota, with relative's name as Carolyn Ridge.[2]
They moved from Minnesota to New Mexico by 1950.
In 1950 Henry (age 44) and Carolyn (age 38) were living in San Miguel, Dona Ana, New Mexico, where he was a Carpenter, and farmer. Their daughter Margaret I. 17 was also in the home. [7]
His wife Carolyn Marion passed away on April 29, 1951, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, at the age of 39. They had been married 21 years.
He died at the age of 85-86, on February 11, 1991 in El Paso, Texas.[9][10] He was buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, Doña Ana County, New Mexico.[1]
