Biography
Lottie Maude Ridge was born on October 22, 1896 in Linwood, Anoka, Minnesota.[1] She was the daughter of Reuben Cry Ridge and Hannah Abigail (Grant) Ridge. She was the eldest child of 5 children.
She attended a country school in Bethel Township.
At age 3, she was in her parent's home, 5 June 1900 in Linwood Twp, Anoka, Minnesota where her Father was a Farmer.[2]
On 25 April 1910 Lottie (age 13) was living in Linwood Twp, Anoka, Minnesota with her parent's and siblings.[3]
On 14 January 1920 Lottie (age 23) was still in her parent's home living in Linwood Twp, Anoka, Minnesota.[4]
After her marriage Oct. 10, 1925, at Bethel to Stuart D. Sanders Sr., they moved to Medbery, N.D., and Wano, LaMoure, North Dakota, where the children were born. [7] then lived for a short time at Detroit Lakes. She worked in the timber industry with her husband for many years, living in Wilton, Chisholm and finally in Bemidji. While living here she worked for Minnesota Wood Products. She also did a lot of sewing, knitting and embroidery over many years.
In 1940, they were living in Shell Lake, Twp., Becker, Minnesota, where Stuart was a Laborer in Lumbering, and she was taking care of the home and children Stuart-13, and Dorothy-9.[8]
They were in Eckles Twp., Beltrami, Minnesota in 1950, where he was in the Sawmill Industry. [9]
Lottie died at the age of 96 on January 15, 1992 in Bemidji, Beltrami County, Minnesota, [10] and was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery.[1]
