John Rockwell Jr. m. Hannah Scott April 16, 1754, in Ridgefield^[1].

John Rockwell, b 1733, m. (1) Sarah[sic] Scott* and (2) Mrs. Hungerford. Late in life he went to Cornwall, Vermont, to live with his son John. He died there in 1825 at the age of 92.^[2]

Children: John, Jeremiah, James, Timothy, Rachel, Samuel, Hannah (m.1785; m. David Pratt), Betsey, Sally, Hetty, Reuben, Eleanor, Lucy and Earl^[2].

After the birth of Samuel, in 1764, the family moved to Lanesboro, Massachusetts^[3]. Lanesborough, was formerly known as New Framingham Plantation and was founded in 1765. The vital records from 1700-1842 were destroyed in a fire, so there are no vital records to find, but the following children were born there.

He died September 6, 1825, and is buried at the Cemetery currently called Cornwall Center Cemetery (Previously Congregation Church Cemetery)^[5]
