Benjamin Rockwell, son of Jonathan Rockwell and Abigail Canfield Rockwell, was born July 6, 1704, at Norwalk, Connecticut[1].
He married at Norwalk, in 1732, Rebecca Wilson. Rebecca, united with the Presbyterian Church in South Salem, New York, May 24, 1752. She died Oct. 27, 1789 in New Salem[1].
He settled at Ridgefield; was joint owner of a plot of ground on Main St. with Jonathan Rockwell in 1744[1].
A record in the Presbyterian Church in South Salem, New York, says he was one of the eighteen who organized that church May 20, 1752[1].
He died Nov. 16, 1787[1]. He is buried at the Presbyterian Church, South Salem, Westchester, NY.
