Benjamin Rockwell,6 was son of Jonathan, b. 1765; m. Susan Tapley in 1785. She died in 1840, and he died in 1848, age 84. Children: Hannah, Joseph, Samuel, Polly, Susan, Sarah, Benjamin, b. 1792; Elijah, b. 1800; Lot, Polly, 2d, and Eliza. There are none of these living except Polly, 2d. All of the children of Benjamin but one married, and had large families in and near Waterville, New Brunswick.
