Son of William Rogers and his wife, Jone, of Watford, Northamptonsh., England. Born after 1532 (estimate) - Died aft. 1586. Probably lived out his life in the Watford area.
No records have been identified for Edward outside family wills.

Research Notes

Oldest son and only child named in father's will: est. BD aft. May 1537-mm:1539 (+/-) since he could not receive his inheritance until age 16. Remaining six siblings also noted as <16y ... : father's will (proved 19 May 1553):
"... Item I give Edward my sone a new brasse pott beside his part aforenamyd ... ,"
and, in his brother William's will (proved 1586), Edward was appointed will overseer:
"...I desire ... Edward Rogers my brother to my overseers made in the psence of Robt Butler Robt Maddocke of Watford with others." ^[1]
