Elizabeth de Roos was the daughter of Sir Thomas Roos, 4th Baron, and his wife Beatrice de Stafford, daughter of Sir Ralph Stafford and Margaret de Audley.
By a settlement dated 1379, she married Sir Thomas Clifford, 6th Lord Clifford.
They had 1 son (Sir John, 7th Lord Clifford) and 1 daughter (Maud, wife of Sir John de Neville, 6th Lord Latimer, and of Sir Richard of Conisbrough, Earl of Cambridge).
Elizabeth died on 26 or 30 March 1424.[1] She is believed to have been buried at St. Michael's Church, Bongate, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria, England. St. Michaels was founded in the 12th century with patrons being the Clifford family.
Her heir was her grandson Thomas.[1]
