Biography

Patience Rowley was a descendant of Mayflower passenger Edward Fuller through his son Matthew.

She was born 30 August 1717 in East Haddam, Connecticut, the daughter of John Rowley and Deborah Fuller.^[1]

She was married 24 February 1736 to Richard Skinner in Colchester, Connecticut.^[2]

They were the parents of eleven children: Richard, Abigail, Deborah, patience, Richard, Abigail, unnamed Skinner, John, Stephen, Patience, and Israel.

Patience died 22 August 1784 in West Chester, Connecticut. Her remains were buried 22 August 1784 in Colchester, Connecticut.^[3]
