Jonathan was born in ca 1703/4 probably in East Haddam, Connecticut, son of Moses Rowley and Mary Unknown.[1] He married Anne Fuller in 1727 and Sedgwick's History shows that Jonathan settled in Sharon in 1741. They had 7 children before she died at Sharon Connecticut on 6 Sep 1741. [2][3]
Then for the third time he married Dorothy Unknown after 1747[1]. He died 23 Mar 1772.[1]
Jonathan's will dated Kent 21 Dec 1769, inventory 13 Apr 1772, mentions wife Dorothy; sons Simeon, Jonathan, Levi, Judah and Issacher; daughters Desire, Anne, Huldah and Abigail; son Issacher executor.
