Research Notes

An alternate birth date is c. 1706.

A record from Ancestry for her husband Field Archer appears to say he was born 1707, Chesterfield County, Virginia; died 1784 at Second Branch Plantation, Chesterfield County, VA; married 1722. Their children: John Archer and Martha Field.[4]

Chesterfield County was created in 1745 from Henrico County.[5]

She was named in the will of her father, Joseph Royall, written 26 February 1748. Will of Joseph Royall of Dale Parish in the County of Henrico. Henrico Co., VA, DB/WB 1744-1748, pp. 376- (3 pages), w. 26 Feb 1747 (1748 new style - in today’s calendar), p. first Monday in April 1748. update - merge completed

Royall-340 and Royall-65 appear to represent the same person because: duplicate profile Royall-340 was created based on father's will (dated 1748) , but Royall-65 has her 1785 will info, so go with that date in the merge please. Thanks!
