Biography

When Amos Russell was born on September 25, 1782, in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, his father, Jonathan [Russell-7841], was 36 and his mother, Anna [Ashley-1838], was 37. He married Hannah Hubbard on January 1, 1809. They had 12 children in 27 years. He died on July 21, 1850, in his hometown at the age of 67. He is buried alongside Hannah in Sugarloaf Cemetery, South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
