Marie Josephe Rémillard was born and baptized on 17 Dec 1788 in St-Cuthbert,[1] daughter of Jean-Baptiste Rémillard and Marie Josephe Ricard, both residing in St-Cuthbert when she marries Charles Pépin.
She is cited as being a minor on her wedding day of 6 July 1807 in St-Cuthbert with Charles Pépin (her mother listed as Marie Josephe Sicard).[2] 12 known children from that marriage, 3 known to die young and 7 to marry.[3]
Charles Pépin dit Lachance died in 1826.[3]
Widowed, Marie Joseph Rémillard remarried with Joseph Borgne, son of Joseph Borgne and Victoire Prévost (both deceased), on 28 July 1828 in St-Cuthbert[4]
1 daughter from this marriage, Émerance Borgne, born and baptized 20 Mar 1829 in St-Barthélemy, who married widower Casimir Déry on 27 Feb 1854 in St-Barthélemy[3]
Josephe Rémillard died on 23 Jan 1849, funeral on the 26th in St-Barthélemy, the record giving her around 60 years of age, widow of Joseph Borne[5]
