Biography

Marie Savoie was born around 1741 in Chipoudy, Acadia, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her parents were Honoré Savoie and Anne Marie Comeau. [1]

She married Alexis Morand, son of Jean-Baptiste Morand and Marie Anne Ricard, on April 21, 1765 in Berthierville. [2][3] In the register it is written that the couple recognized their legitimate son Alexis born on 4 April.

She passed away on 3 March 1781 and was buried on 5 March 1781 in Berthierville (Berthier-en-Haut). [1][5]
