George C. Scott was an American stage, film and television actor. His most famous film roles were as General "Buck" Turgidson in "Dr. Strangelove" in 1964, and in 1970, as the title character, General George S. Patton Jr., in "Patton."
George Campbell Scott was born on 18 Oct 1927 in Wise, Wise, Virginia, United States, son of George Dewey Scott (1902–1987) and Helena Agnes Slemp (1904–1935)[1].
In 1930, George Scott, a 28 year old clerical worker in a factory, lived in a place he rented with his wife Helena, 25 years old, and two children: Helen, 6; and George, 2. George was 20 years old when he was married, and Helena was 17[2]. All were born in Virginia, as were their parents.

George died (age 72) on 22 Sep 1999 residing in Ventura, California.[6] George was buried in Westwood Memorial Park, Westwood, Los Angeles County, California, United States with a death date of 22 Sep 1999.[7]
