He married Mary Whetenhall, daughter of George Whetenhall and Alys Berkeley, circa 1526.[2]

I've found only two pedigrees with her, but see no reason to disbelieve them. Marmaduke certainly left a widow name Ann, so at least that is consistent. I didn't see any mention of her in the will of Reynold Scott, but she could well have been dead by 1599.
