Lady Catherine Seymour was the second daughter of Charles Seymour, sixth duke of Somerset (1662–1748) and Elizabeth, née Percy, duchess of Somerset (1667–1772). She married Sir William Wyndham, 3rd Baronet of Orchard Wyndham (1687–1740), on 15 July 1708. After her death on 9 April 1731, she was buried in the Wyndham Chapel at St Decuman's Church, Somerset.
